Nova Scotia's Learning Continuity Plan in Review

The province announced plans to support students and learning at home while school buildings remain closed until at least May 1st. For a guide to Nova Scotia’s Learning Continuity Plan, visit https://www.ednet.ns.ca/learning_continuity.

In addition to supports offered by your teacher, which began last week, the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development will begin to distribute grade P- 9 learning materials through store flyer packages every other week. The first flyer package was distributed last week.  These are delivered to most homes in Nova Scotia unless you have opted out of this service.

If you do not currently receive weekly flyers and want to activate delivery, please contact the Saltwire network:

Teachers will stay in touch with grade 10-12 students to support their learning and are working on plans to offer support in various ways, including options for students without access to technology at home. We know that each family has unique needs and circumstances, and teachers will work with you to find an arrangement that is best for your family.  Please refer to the Grade 12 Q&A on our Facebook page or on the CCRCE website at www.ccrce.ca.

Parents and studnets are encouraged to reach out to teachers with questions and support.
