PDHS Cafeteria - Modified Methods to Ensure Safety

The PDHS Cafeteria Head Chef, Joanne Cottirll, is excited to welcome students and staff back for another school year. This year is not like any other as Covid-19 has changed our day to day lives. This year we are able to provide a lunch program, however we have modified our lunch menu.  Students in grades 7 to 9 are eating lunch in their classroom and their orders will be delivered to them in a safe manner while maintaining the service our students have come to expect. Students in grades 10 to 12 are able to use the cafeteria during their lunch time and will pick up their orders adhering to social distancing.  In an effort to meet the needs of our modified system, all food must be pre-ordered (including any condiments), upon arrival in the morning.  Students have been given order slips and the menu is attached to this post.  Each morninig students will place their envelope with the order slip and money in the grade level basket located in the cafeteria; supervised by a staff member.  Student's in grades 7 to 9 will receive necessary change when their order is delivered.  Please include the name and grade on the outside of the envelope.  Should students forget their order form and/or require an envelope, they will be available.

Daily Items are posted on the attached Menu - At this time Daily Specials are unavailable until further notice .  Price of items are available on the menu.

Cafeteria Order Slips are also avilable and can be printed.

New This Year!

We are offering food cards for parents to purchase for students. You can purchase a $25.00 or $50.00 card for your child that will stay in the kitchen with Joanne. Each day that your child is ordering from the cafeteria they will place a completed order slip (including their name, class, and order items) in the class basket in the cafeteria. Joanne will contact you when the money is getting low and you can reload. Payment options for the cards are by cash or e-transfer only. E-transfers can be sent to and you must include in the e-transfer your child’s school, name, grade, and phone number. This option decreases contact for staff and students as less handling and exchange of money is required.
